It’s been a while since I’ve posted, but I’m determined to finish these series before it hits a year from when I actually took this trip. Also, stay tuned for some 2017 round-ups, both beauty and otherwise!
And without further ado, let’s go to the next stop on the cruise, Sicily!
With all the temptation and spending that comes with the holiday season, I thought it’d be nice to balance my Sephora haul (and other upcoming hauls…) with an anti-haul.
Although I’ve gotten a lot better about making more informed, thought-out purchases in the last couple of years, this anti-haul will also be a good reminder to myself that money not spent is better than money spent on a product I wouldn’t otherwise use or want to try.
Before I begin with the anti-haul, I have to admit that I went ahead and purchased the Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial (1.69 oz, $80). I was partially motivated by maintaining my Rouge status, but mainly, it seems like a universally loved product, and is unique enough that I probably wouldn’t find a dupe easily, if at all. I’m excited to try it and share my thoughts on it with you 🙂
I’ve taken a couple of weeks off posting here, but the Sephora VIB sale, kicking off today, was good motivation for me to end my break and share with you guys what I’d hauled last week when the sale was open only to Rouge members.
I purchased five items and redeemed two point perks this time, though I’m already considering whether I should purchase more before the sale ends…
As a long time fan of Kathleenlights on YouTube, I’ve been watching KL Polish since its initial launch. However, as I don’t use nail polish very often and am very picky about the shades I do use, I had been holding off on picking up any of the nail polishes to try. Then came this fall launch, and as KL Polish teased each shade of the fall collection this year, I found myself liking almost every single shade. When the whole collection was revealed, I decided to forget my reservations and get the whole set.
As I grow out the dyed part of my hair and as the dryer winter months approach, I’ve started looking out for moisturizing hair masks to keep my hair from looking too dry. As I was browsing the SKINFOOD products available on the SokoGlam site a couple of months ago, I came across this Argan Oil Repair Plus Treatment Mask (6.76 oz / 200 ml, $15).
My first empties post! As I usually throw away my containers as soon as I’m done with a product, it took me some time to accumulate enough trash to write one of these posts. Keep reading to see what I’ve used up and what I thought of them! If I’ve talked about a product on my blog before, my opinion may have changed since I last mentioned it.
As this is a pretty new brand, this post will be a review of the product as well as an overview and first impressions of the brand.
BYBI Beauty is a brand from the founders Clean Beauty Co, a “modern, luxury beauty brand built on an ethos of high performance natural ingredients”. BYBI Beauty itself is 100% natural skincare as well and is a pretty recent launch, with just five different products available on its site right now. Unfortunately for non-UK residents, the site currently only ships within the UK. When I emailed the company, they directed me to Content Beauty & Wellbeing, an amazing site that sells a variety of different all natural skincare and beauty products and offers free shipping worldwide. This is where I purchased BYBI Beauty’s Prime Time (60 ml or 2.03 oz, $31.89), which I decided was the first product I wanted to try from this brand.
