While I like being adventurous with my makeup once in a while, I’m a lazy girl, as I’ve already said a bunch of times, so most of the time I just default to a variation of the same look. In this post, I’ll be sharing my usual look for when I want to look like I actually tried – this would most likely be for when I know I’ll be in pictures, or for a nicer dinner/outing.

While I was writing this, I tried to include as many different products as I could to show that the same general look can be achieved with a variety of products ūüôā Because of this, the post ended up being extremely long, so I decided I’d split it into two posts. MAKEUP ROUTINE | 5 Minute Makeup

As I’ve become someone who doesn’t use makeup on a daily basis, I’ve developed a quick routine for days when I suddenly have plans after work and want to look a bit nicer. Recently, I started toying with the idea of actually timing myself, and last week, I decided to put myself up to the challenge when my boyfriend and I planned a last minute date night. I actually managed to do this under 5 minutes! (I had two seconds to spare….)

As I mentioned in my previous post, I’ve come to fully embrace the lazy girl attitude that was always in me, and my updated skincare routine reflects that. Looking back at my routine from last year was a bit shocking – I’d forgotten how extensive the routine I followed was. My skin has become less oily and less acne prone, so that helps with simplification of my routine as well. I’ve been following iterations of my current one for a while now, and it’s definitely more pared down than before. For one thing, my AM and PM routines are almost the same.
