My first empties post! As I usually throw away my containers as soon as I’m done with a product, it took me some time to accumulate enough trash to write one of these posts. Keep reading to see what I’ve used up and what I thought of them! If I’ve talked about a product on my blog before, my opinion may have changed since I last mentioned it.
In the blink of an eye, it’s already September, and we’re heading into Labor Day weekend and the end of summer. With that in mind, I thought it’d be nice to start a favorites series before summer comes to a complete end.
These posts will primarily be on beauty favorites, but if I have any fashion or other lifestyle favorites, I will include those as well. For this month, I have a fashion love that isn’t included in the post image – continue reading to see what it is! 🙂
I always have a collection of little sample-sized skincare products in my inventory because they’re great ways to try new products without committing to a full-size, often expensive, purchase. They’re also great for travel, and I always keep a whole skincare routine’s worth of samples in my work bag for nights and weekends that I stay over at my boyfriend’s place.
It’s been a while since I received this little Hydro-Plumping Re-Texturizing Serum Concentrate ($58 for 1.7 fl oz, or $77 for 2.5 fl oz) sample as part of a larger purchase, but it’s finally been incorporated into my on-the-go routine. Now that I’m nearing the end of this little tube, which gave me a good week of both day and night use, I think it’s a good time to give my thoughts on this product.
As I mentioned in my previous post, I’ve come to fully embrace the lazy girl attitude that was always in me, and my updated skincare routine reflects that. Looking back at my routine from last year was a bit shocking – I’d forgotten how extensive the routine I followed was. My skin has become less oily and less acne prone, so that helps with simplification of my routine as well. I’ve been following iterations of my current one for a while now, and it’s definitely more pared down than before. For one thing, my AM and PM routines are almost the same.
