Fireworks by the Palau Nacional, to welcome in the new year

And finally, the last destination of my cruise! It’s been a year since I took this trip, but I’m finally closing out this series of posts! Lesson learned, next time I should post about my trip as soon as possible after I come back from it, so as not to lose the momentum of writing about it… And take more pictures! I took a good amount of pictures, but I could’ve definitely used more, especially for these blog posts.

Anyways, since Barcelona was the last destination on our cruise, we stayed a couple of days afterwards so we had more time to explore.

I’m a bit ashamed to say that I didn’t know Malta existed until this trip, which really goes to show how educational travel can be 🙂 I’ve probably already said this about other destinations, but Malta was probably my favorite, and I would want to visit again and marvel at the beautiful architecture.

This post will mainly be me sharing all the pictures that I took of Malta, with a few descriptions of certain places.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted, but I’m determined to finish these series before it hits a year from when I actually took this trip. Also, stay tuned for some 2017 round-ups, both beauty and otherwise!

And without further ado, let’s go to the next stop on the cruise, Sicily!

Cruisin’ the Mediterranean | Rome

Next up in this series, Rome! Up to this point in the cruise, Rome was by far my favorite destination, for many reasons. The excursion just felt better planned, and consequently, it felt like we got to do and see more. The architecture and historical monuments we got to visit were also by far my favorite in the trip thus far and were even perhaps my most favorite throughout the whole trip.

Genoa, Italy

As I mentioned previously, I’ll be skipping the first stop at Barcelona, since not much happened there. This post will include the both the first stop at Marseille and second stop at Genoa. Apologies in advance – these two stops had less going on, but I tried to explain what I did to the best of my ability. I also included all the pictures I took, and hopefully this gives an idea of what my experiences at these destinations were like. If you’re curious about anything, please don’t hesitate to ask, and I’ll answer as best as I can! 🙂

Cruisin’ the Mediterranean | Intro + About the Cruise

During the end of 2016, I had the amazing opportunity to go on a cruise through the Mediterranean with my family, and I wanted to share the experience with you guys. My account will moreso be about each destination than the cruise itself, but regardless, I hope my account of this trip can help you make an informative decision on whether a cruise in the Mediterranean is something you’d want to do. Either way, I hope you find this series of posts entertaining!

This trip was pretty eventful, so I’ll be splitting my account into a few posts over the course of the next few weeks for ease of reading. This first post will be an introduction and summary of information about the cruise, so click through to read more!
